Privacy Policy — Worksheet Patch
Note: This policy is being finalized. Questions: [email protected].
Last updated: September 16, 2026.
1. Who we are
Worksheet Patch (worksheetpatch.com) helps teachers and homeschool educators with printable K–5 worksheets. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
- Your email address — when you sign up for a magic link or use Google sign-in.
- Google account details — if you choose Google sign-in, we receive the basic profile information Google shares (such as your name and email).
- Download history — which worksheets you have downloaded, so we can show them in your account and support you if something goes wrong.
- Saved worksheets — worksheets you bookmark or save on the site.
- Purchase history — which subscription or worksheet packs you have bought.
- Usage data — basic information about how you use the site (pages visited, device type), used to improve the service.
3. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number — that information goes directly to Stripe. Stripe handles it under their own privacy policy.
4. Transactional email
We send sign-in links, receipts, and account notices by email using Resend. We only send emails you need to use the service, plus occasional service announcements.
5. How we use your information
We use your information to: run your account, keep your download history, provide saved worksheets, process payments through Stripe, send transactional email, improve the site, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand basic site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features (like staying signed in) need cookies to work.
7. Children's privacy
Worksheet Patch accounts are for adults — teachers, parents, and homeschool educators. Children should not create accounts or provide personal information to us. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly. Contact [email protected] if you believe this has happened.
8. Sharing information
We share information only with the service providers we need to operate the site:
- Stripe — payments
- Resend — email
- Google — if you use Google sign-in
- Cloudflare — hosting and site security
We may also share information if required by law.
9. Your choices
You can update your account email preferences, unsubscribe from non-essential messages, and ask us to delete your account and personal data by writing to [email protected].
9a. How long we keep your information
We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal information, except for payment and tax records we are required to keep by law.
9b. State privacy rights
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service is completely secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the new version here. Significant changes will be announced on the site or by email.
