This license explains how you can use worksheets from Worksheet Patch, both free ones and ones you buy. In short: use them freely with your own students or children, but don’t share the files beyond them.

Who this license covers

Each purchase or free download gives a license to one person: the teacher, parent, homeschool educator, or tutor who downloaded it. A license can’t be transferred to another person.

What you can do

• Print as many copies as you need for your own students or children.
• Use the worksheets year after year with your own classes.
• Share with your students digitally through a password-protected system they use for your class, such as Google Classroom, Canvas, Seesaw, or a class email.
• Let a substitute, aide, or co-teacher use them with your students while covering or supporting your class.
• Use them in tutoring, intervention groups, or homeschool co-op sessions that you personally lead.
• Link to any worksheet page on worksheetpatch.com from your blog, newsletter, or social media. Linking is always welcome.

What you can’t do

• Post the files publicly: on websites, blogs, social media, or any other page anyone can access.
• Put the files on shared drives or team folders used by teachers outside your classroom, such as grade-level teams, school-wide drives, or district drives. Each teacher needs their own license. See School and district licenses below.
• Sell, resell, or give away the files, whether as-is, modified, or combined with other material. This includes marketplaces like Teachers Pay Teachers and Etsy.
• Upload the files or their content into AI training datasets, or into apps or services that redistribute worksheet content.
• Remove or cover the Worksheet Patch name, copyright notice, or any purchaser mark on the files.
• Share an answer key with students in a way that lets it spread beyond your classroom.

Free worksheets

Free worksheets follow this same license. They’re free to download and use with your own students or children, but please share the link to the worksheet page, not the PDF file.

Teachers, bloggers, and curriculum roundups are welcome and encouraged to link to our worksheet pages — please link to the page, not the PDF file, so your readers always land on the current version.

School and district licenses

Ownership

All worksheets, answer keys, previews, and site content are owned by Echols Tech Solutions and protected by copyright. Your purchase gives you a license to use them under these terms. It doesn’t transfer ownership.

Ending the license

If an order is refunded or reversed through a payment dispute, the license for the files in that order ends, and you should delete your copies. If these terms are broken, we may end the license and remove access to the affected files.
